Cane has been the traditional canoe seat for over a century. The combination is lightweight, durable... and a pleasing look. The rails [raw side to side length] measure 34 inches, 8 inches on center, the standard for Mad River, Dagger, Bell and many other manufacturers. Use this seat to replace existing seats or upgrade from a hard plastic bench seat. Class it up even more by choosing cherry or walnut for a striking contrast against the cane seat material. With ash you can now choose between the traditional cane or durable web - sorry, webbing is not available with cherry or walnut.

Tip: if you're replacing a seat, pull the old seat, hold it against the new seat for a pattern to cut and drill the replacement.
